t blackout! Our headliner for this month is none other than @lidiavomito Vomito
is a power house that has been at it since the ‘90s. She started collecti
ng vinyl, exclusively, in 2000 discovering new music and artists like it w
as her job and now it absolutely is. In 2005, Rock Bottom Records was open
ed by Vomito and her best friend Bryan “Chump Change” Robertson, frontman
for hardcore outfit Spare Change. Today, Vomito and Robertson host their o
wn show, @releasethehoundsradio on @lumpenradio 105.5 FM. Vomito is also a
horror film enthusiast and longtime photographer. With her roots being in
goth and industrial; her knowledge in punk and metal, we’re excited to he
ar what she plays for you!

and Chicago staple @djmrbobby Since the late ‘90s, Bobby has dedicated his life t
o music and entertainment. Having worked with a multitude of Chicago outfi
ts throughout the years, Bobby has curated multiple events. He currently r
uns @blacklightblackout ; a dance party bathed in black lights featuring
local Chicago talent. In the booth, Bobby seamlessly transitions between
genres allowing him to read the room and deliver exactly what the dance fl
oor needs. Mr Bobby has played all the festivals and clubs in the city and
that is not an exaggeration. His set will warm you up and have you asking

It's John Lovetron, the modular mayne. An expensive multi mo nth odyssey to create the perfect groovebox (destroying a long term friend ship in the process) lead him to a journey of self discovery (and ego infl ation) as a musician, eventually becoming part of local synthesizer perfor mance group Night Beams. Formerly a noisemaker, backup vocalist, and bass player in a mathcore band, John returned to his extended love of dance mus ic, something spurred from early adolescence, examining industrial and tec hno territories while attempting to harness the frenetic and angular energ y hardcore has. In his spare time, John does video synthesis, having VJed for several bands in Chicago, and will embarrass you in Super Street Fight er 2 Turbo.

ía is a Latino-owned brewery in Chicago's Back of the Yards neighborhood,
known for its Mexican-inspired craft beers and commitment to community, lo
cated within The Plant. The brewery, whose name translates to "We Are Monk
eys Brewery," was founded by Victor Santoyo and pays homage to his Mexican
heritage and the founders' shared history in the Southwest Side, with bee
r names and labels inspired by music and culture. They offer unique brews

Digital never rea lly grew up nor got any easier. Screens are smaller. Inputs multiplied. Ti me in the real world has been stolen. The universe has collapsed into grid s, scrolls, and seemingly infinite options that rarely do what we want the m to. From cracked pixels to crashed software and the attendant hear tache, we remain transfixed, still making beauty with devices designed for something else.
