🪩 Coming all the way from LA to behind the booth in Chicago’s Wicker Park. Chica de Luz is a Mexican Indigenous Digital & Vinyl DJ based in Los Angeles California. She specializes in spanish music within the dark realms of post punk, darkwave & rock en español but is no stranger to mixing multi-genres. Using music as medicine to represent her roots she uses DJing to embrace her love within alternative subcultures in Latin America to build community & shapeshift energy through the power of music.

Chica de Luz es una DJ indígena mexicana —que trabaja tanto con formatos digitales como con vinilos— radicada en Los Ángeles, California.
Se especializa en música en español dentro de los reinos oscuros del post-punk, el darkwave y el rock en español, aunque no le es ajeno mezclar múltiples géneros. Utilizando la música como medicina para representar sus raíces, emplea el arte del DJing para abrazar su amor por las subculturas alternativas de América Latina, con el fin de construir comunidad y transformar la energía a través del poder de la música.
