Shimmer is Chicago’s long-running (15+ years!) shoegaze/dreampop/psych/indie dance party with DJs Scary Lady Sarah & Philly Peroxide (your Dancing DJs™) who spin a soundtrack of sonic incandescence, warm fuzzy walls of sound, and face melting guitars!

Expect new & classic shoegaze, dreampop, psych, space rock, ethereal & some indie dance music. We REALLY love to play new/current songs especially!)

CHICAGO has so many cool bands in these genres and we love playing them & seeing them out at SHIMMER!

We've been LOVING our newer patrons & the dance floor has been more fun than ever! So, come out & chill, drink, sway...and shimmer with us.
