Shimmer is Chicago’s long-running (15+ years!) shoegaze/dreampop/psych/indie dance party with DJs Scary Lady Sarah & Philly Peroxide (your Dancing DJs™) who spin a soundtrack of sonic incandescence, warm fuzzy walls of sound, and face melting guitars!

Expect new & classic shoegaze, dreampop, psych, space rock, ethereal & some indie dance music.

CHICAGO has so many cool bands in these genres and we love playing them & seeing them out at SHIMMER!
